12-16 Weeks (or earlier)

  • Contact the Grants Office at (212) 217-3625 to plan an approach
  • Grants Office / PI outreach to grant-maker program officers
  • Establish Project Partnerships

8-12 Weeks

  • Budget Planning Meeting
  • Evaluation meeting with Grants Office (and Office of Assessment, if required)
  • IRB Consultation (with Office of General Counsel, if required)
  • Preparation of Draft Proposal Copy

6-8 Weeks

  • Preparation of Draft Budget
  • Editorial review of Proposal Draft
  • Solicit and secure Letters of Support

5 Weeks

  • Submit Proposal Draft and Budget to Grants Office for required Academic Affairs review
  • Complete Application Components / Attachments

2 Weeks

  • Secure Final Proposal Edits from stakeholders
  • Finalize Letters of Support, Bios, References, etc.
  • Finalize Proposal

1 Week

  • The Grants Office will submit Final Proposal
