Loan/Renewal Periods

Library Materials

We will waive fines for any Library books and DVDs that were due between January 2020 and August 2021 once they are returned. We will begin fine collection on overdue library materials for items checked out on August 23, 2021, and beyond.

Library books, DVDs, and Interlibrary Loan items that were checked out during the Spring/Summer/Fall 2020 and Spring/Summer 2021 semesters and were not returned are considered overdue and lost. Due date extensions were not granted if you did not contact us. Holds were applied and will affect your ability to register for classes, receive transcripts and diplomas. Please return your library material immediately to clear your account.

Ready to Return Your Library Books/DVDs?
Please use our new secure drop box located just outside of Goodman Center (jpg).  Members of the SUNY community may also drop off library material from their home institution using our dropbox. No appointment is necessary and drop off is contactless. Here's a link to the campus map and directions. The dropbox is available seven days a week.

Note: DO NOT use the drop box for books/rentals from the FIT Bookstore, as we have no way of returning them to the bookstore. Instructions on returning bookstore material can be found further below on this page.

Please be advised Library services and/or access may change or cease at any time dependent on college administration directives based on SUNY, state, and city mandates.
